Reason #1 Why I love homeschooling

My boy slept till 9 am today!  There was no rush rush rush...we gotta catch the bus!!!!! 

So we won't start school till this afternoon, who cares?  He got plenty of rest and woke up in a sweet mood.  This good mood will make such an awesome afternoon for learning.  How did I get so lucky?  So happy the Lord led me to this path!!!!

Another Day, Another Dollar

Well its another day, and what's going on....
-no budget deal
-another earthquake in Japan, which leads to...
-another tsunami warning
-a shooting at a school in Brazil
-don't forget Libya
-Afganistan
-Iraq
If I didn't know that God was in charge, this sort of stuff would look awful scary! 

My husband and I have seriously been considering doing away with cable.  Any thoughts?  It just seems to be overload on every front.  But the sad thing is I get all short of breath thinking about a night without DWTS, American Idol and the countless other shows we DVR.  What is wrong with me????  I think I need detox....HELP!!!

You know I haven't blogged forever...

I guess, I don't really have anything to say!  Unbelievable....I know my life isn't really that boring.  Is it????? 

WE ARE EXHAUSTED

My first blog....here we go!  What do I have to pontificate about?  I have absolutely no idea...lol! 

Pneumonia has been ruling our house for about 4 days now....my little sick dd, is crabby and crabby!  Between her and our 9 year old aspie son, WE ARE EXHAUSTED!!!  I wish someone would figure out why aspies don't sleep well, and cure it. 

Watching food network, and chewing some twizzlers.  Thinking about supper....thinking about takeout again!  Takeout just sounds gross....hungry, but too tired to cook!!!!!!! 

We missed church today, because WE ARE EXHAUSTED!!!  And now I find myself too EXHAUSTED to finish this blog....maybe tomorrow
